We are currently looking for some participants to take part in an online community for the HSE.

WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT?

The HSE is working with the Department of An Taoiseach, Department of Health, Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, and others to help shape and improve communications with young people in Ireland, especially around COVID-19.

To help gather views, opinions and feedback on communications the HSE Communications Division is setting up a Youth Community Panel – an online platform of people aged 25 and younger.

This community is being managed by Core Research on behalf of the HSE. They want to understand different people’s lives, their needs, their attitudes so that they can improve the information, supports and services they provide.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?

The panel will be active for 6 months and each month you’ll be asked to take part in 1 or 2 tasks. Tasks consist of short polls, surveys, online discussions. We’ll be asking you some interesting and varied questions on the topic of you day-to-day life (e.g. your interests, the role of health and wellbeing in your life, your opinion on different communication campaigns).

This is a great opportunity for you to share your thoughts with us, and with other likeminded people in conversations that will have a big influence on how we can improve the health information, supports and services in the future.

We appreciate the time it takes for people to take part in a task so for this reason we reward members with incentives, prize draws and best contributor prizes after an activity or task.

As a thank you for getting involved and for your commitment to the Pulse Community, each member will get €20 money card upon full completion of two tasks on the community.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

If you want to take part, here are the steps:

  1. Panel members will be chosen by Core Research to make sure there is a good mix of age, gender, living situation, employment status and so on. Please fill in some details below.
  2. When you get an email invitation from Core Research, then you will be asked to set up a profile on the panel by setting a username and password and avatar if you wish
  3. Sign the terms and conditions. They’re attached here for your information and to help you decide if you want to take part but you don’t have to sign this yet. You will be asked to agree when you are setting up your profile.
  4. Start your first task. You’ll be emailed when a new task is available.
